It is an opportunity to get some exercise while raising money for a good cause. Our goal is to raise $1000 for the anemia project. The funds will be donated to Dyanprabodhini, Harali, Solapur towards the ongoing Anemia project sponsored by Akshaybhasha, a Phoenix based non-profit organization. For last 10 years, this healthcare project has been offering free screening and treatment of nutritional anemia at Dyanprabodhini at Harali, Keshavsmruti Pratishthan at Jalgaon and Matrusewa Sangh at Nagpur. Anemia is a very common and treatable condition but often goes undiagnosed and untreated in Indian women due to ignorance, poverty and inaccessibility to healthcare, with devastating consequences. This project has brought a considerable change in this dire situation.
Please encourage family and friends to join this hike and make this a successful event. Please RSVP at your earliest. Donations are welcome for the ongoing project anytime irrespective of your participation in this activity.
